What do Lean professionals
value at LCI Congress?

Project team members come from all over the U.S. and world to attend LCI Congress, but what do they value most?

Matt Bleakley, Senior Project Manager at Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and 2018 LCI Congress planning team member, values "hearing what others are doing to utilize Lean principles to add value to their business operations."

Q&A with a Lean in design expert

How do engineers and designers leverage technology to improve project team productivity? Ryan Seckinger, principal, Walter P Moore, reflects on his Lean journey so far and shares tips for bringing others along your journey in his Lean expert insight.

"What I would tell myself 10 years ago would be to reinforce the importance of a new way of thinking embodied by Lean like respect for people, seeking out open-minded dialogue and being open to new processes," Ryan says.

Community of Practice (CoP) Corner -
Join your CoP's online conversation!

Checking social media has become a daily routine for some of us and can be a great way to build a sense of community. For that reason, CoP leaders will participate in a social media "overview and best practices" training later this month in hopes of improving how more CoPs use platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

Go to the LCI CoP page, click on your CoP on the right-hand sidebar and find the social media icon to connect with your CoPs social media profile! Then, join the Lean conversation online by liking or sharing posts about upcoming events and commenting about any specific takeaways from a past event.

If you have CoP-related questions, please contact Denise Erminger at derminger@leanconstruction.org.
