#valuedelivery Lean photo release!

Barton Malow took advantage of the #valuedelivery photo campaign by submitting three photos. Two photos showcase Lean Tools & Technology. One highlights the Line Dragon, used to pour concrete faster and smoother while improving safety, and the other showed the Mobile Conex Boxes that expedite the most current information to field workers.

To showcase how Barton Malow makes workflow more reliable while engaging the trade partners’ expertise, a third photo showed #valuedelivery under the Last Planner® System category.

The full collection of LCI corporate members’ #valuedelivery photos are up on LCI’s website! See how 17 LCI corporate members deliver value by using Last Planner® System, Lean People & Processes, and Lean Tools & Technologies on the job with the #valuedelivery photo collection.

LCI 2017 Congress
Sponsorship/Exhibit Opportunities

Bringing value to every aspect of Congress is a top goal for LCI, and we want our attendees to benefit from their time spent at our event. The contributions of the vast array of exhibitors are just another way to add value to the educational offerings of Congress. Owners, designers, general contractors and trade partners visit the exhibit hall to learn about the newest tools and technology for support in different phases of their Lean journey.

Last year’s record breaking attendance of 1,325 Lean professionals was the fifth year of consecutive growth, and in 2017 we expect continued growth over our 2016 attendance.

ALL exhibit spaces come with:

  1. Pipe and drape
  2. 6’ draped and skirted table (a Premium booth comes with two tables)
  3. Two chairs (a Premium booth comes with four chairs)
  4. A wastebasket (a Premium booth comes with two wastebaskets)
  5. An ID sign
  6. Free WIFI

Other benefits for exhibitors include, the ability to present a webinar for the entirety of LCI (30 minutes), pre- and -post Congress attendee lists, representation in the Congress app, and a free registration to Congress days Wed. – Fri.

The Tuesday evening Exhibitor Sneak Peek Reception; all-day refreshments (coffee, water and snacks), as well as food and snacks for afternoon breaks; and all Lean Coffees will happen in the Exhibit Hall. All of these opportunities are designed to give the attendees time to network with the exhibitors.

LCI/P2SL/AIA Lean in Design Forum 2017 Recap

After two days of sessions focused on the designer’s role in Lean and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), the 2017 Lean in Design Forum ended as our largest to date. The forum kicked off May 31 with six classes focusing on Big Room, Last Planner® System, Target Value Delivery and more with a reception in the evening.

June 1 started with LCI Exec. Director Dan Heinemeier welcoming more than 150 attendees, followed by the two Eli Lilly and Company keynote speakers who spoke to what an owner needs from designers.

Next, the 2016 LCI-funded Business Case for Lean findings were shared and Stan Chiu, HGA, presented on knowledge-based design, design leadership and continuous improvement. After lunch, the seven Learning Round Tables began. Attendees were able to pick three out of seven sessions to learn from.

LCI sends our thanks to all the trainers, volunteers and attendees who helped make the busy two days in Chicago as value-adding as possible!
