LCI Congress registration opens soon – Owners can apply for scholarship funds

Before the 2018 LCI Congress registration opens this month, the LCI board of directors would like to invite owners to apply for the LCI Congress Owner Scholarship, which awards a free registration to the LCI Congress core program, Oct. 17-18, valued at $1,195 to owner organizations if funding travel to educational events is a challenge.

Owners play an important role in advancing the industry’s adoption of Lean, so if you know an owner who could benefit from discovering the Lean advantage, encourage them to apply and save the date!

Community of Practice (CoP) Corner -
Surveying your Lean community

LCI San Diego Community of Practice (CoP) surveyed its regional membership in an exercise to “pull” what the members would like to learn more about verses “pushing” information that may not be relevant. Here’s what the survey questions included:

  • Have you attended a CoP event and if so, in the last 12 months?
  • What is your level of Lean knowledge?
  • How can we improve or what can we offer to better serve the Lean community?

Every LCI CoP is unique with its own local identity and market, and surveying your participants provides immediate feedback for how you can improve. If you would like to become involved with your local LCI CoP core group or if you already are and would like to send a survey, contact Denise Erminger,
