Why collaborate? Because it works, and because we can!

To foster true collaborative behavior – collaboration that can withstand the inevitable challenges presented by complex construction projects – requires the right people performing the right tasks within an environment that promotes trust and mutuality of expectation over shared project outcomes. Teamwork produces optimal results in nearly all fields of human endeavor. Military engagements, marketing campaigns, and sporting contests all depend on closely coordinated team effort. The failure to work as a team often results in failure or worse.

Investing in building a collaborative culture and a “people first” initiative has been shown to be a primary ingredient to engender success and to improve project results. This presentation will present some basic leadership strategies for building a healthy project team and a culture of collaboration on projects of all scopes and complexity.
