Liberating Structures are simple social technologies that distribute participation more widely while drawing out greater difference and variation within groups. Liberating Structures inject tiny shifts in the protocols of how we meet, plan, decide and relate to each other that put in the hands of everyone the facilitative power once reserved for experts only. Simply put Liberating Structures help facilitate Lean Thinking, which is the critical component for successful Lean implementation. Liberating Structures are great Tools to help with the “People side of Lean”.
Attendees will experience and learn to use several Liberating Structures (LS) in a virtual environment. Attendees will go through a Design String of Liberating Structures such as 1-2-4-ALL and Impromptu Networking among others. If you join us, you will be able to immediately start using LS to unleash innovation and collaboration on your Teams. You will learn how to identify which Liberating Structures are best for which situations as we review the LS Selection Matchmaker. We will provide the attendees all the knowledge they need to go and design their first LS Design String to help their Teams address their issues in deep and meaningful ways.
NO MOBILE DEVICES! We will be operating on multiple platforms and using a mobile device is not conducive to switching back and forth, so for this reason, we are going to ask that everyone join from a computer. We will be using Zoom as the meeting platform and Google Slides to share information and record some of our outcomes.
