The Last Planner® System Workshop: Introduction, Training and Simulations
Join the Austin COP and an expert in IPD and lean design and construction for a full-day training session on Pull Planning and the Last Planner® System. This workshop will cover introductory level information, simulations and hands-on practical training to give you the knowledge to successfully start implementing the Last Planner® System at any phase of the building project with your project team or within your firm. This program is intended for individuals who have some basic understanding of lean design and construction principles and who would like to learn more specifically about the Last Planner® System and the pull planning process.
The Last Planner® System, one of the hallmark collaborative planning tools supporting lean design/construction projects, has been shown to streamline the scheduling process, increase schedule reliability and productivity throughout multiple disciplines. Understanding of the Last Planner® System is invaluable to firms and individuals progressing on their lean journey.
Christian Pikel is Managing Principal of The ReAlignment Group, LTD a unique provides of facilitation, training and coaching services for lean design and construction implementation, partnering, lean tool implementation, team building and collaboration. Christian has been in the design and construction industry for 20 years beginning with project management for a design build trade contractor, through pre-preconstruction, project development consulting and project management for a large healthcare owner active in the lean design and construction industry. He has been a practitioner of lean construction principles for over 9 years and since joining TRG has been able to bring his experience to a broad base of project teams and firms wishing to expand their lean capability and understanding.
