Target Value Design is a process to cut out contingencies and waste and drive efficiency without sacrificing quality. As costs go down, the team can add features that enhance the project’s overall value while still maintaining the targeted budget. The goal of this presentation is to present the process at an introductory level with a fun activity that will help everyone understand the intent of TVD.

Felipe Hernandez, is a Senior Project Coordinator with Beck Architecture in Austin. He currently leads Beck’s Austin Lean Committee, which educates, trains, and implements lean thinking and practices within Beck. He is currently pursuing his architectural license and is very passionate about making both design and construction processes more efficient through lean
