Everyone from Owner to Designer to Constructor wants to plan an efficient workflow for a project.  Pull Planning is one tool that can help a team do this.

Attendees will first learn the basic language and steps used in Pull Planning followed by a hands on simulation.  There will be representatives present from several companies and disciplines that have experience in Pull Planning and can give real life experiences with the tool, what went well and what they would have done differently.

This course will outline the principles of Pull Planning and how it is used to create a better workflow for projects.  As a part of The Last Planner System® Pull Planning improves the flow of information and resources and reduces wait times, over processing and redundancy

Andrea Sponsel is a Vice President and Lean Champion at HKS.  She began her lean journey six years ago, and was immediately immersed in the philosophy of continuous improvement, standardization of work and eliminating waste to create value.  The process was something she quickly and easily identified with.  Since then, her passion has been bringing the lean knowledge learned to others in HKS to utilize on all projects and promote a more efficient delivery of design.

Registration is Free.
