Join us for a panel discussion of how to leverage lean and integrated practices and tools from early on in the planning through design and even through the permitting process.

Speakers:

Teresa Endres, AIA,EDAC,AAH, Stantec – Teresa has over 25 years of industry experience in healthcare programming, planning and design for state-of-the-art healthcare facilities that promote healing and wellness. This includes over ten years of experience using Lean practices. She is currently a Sr. Healthcare Planner in Stantec’s Sacramento office and is the Chair of the Central Valley AIA Academy of Architecture for Health committee.

Denis J Stroup, HGA – Denis is a licensed Architect in California with 27 years’ experience focusing on lean integrated project delivery and healthcare design. Current core group member of the Lean Construction Institute (LCI) NorCal Community of Practice and Co-Chair of training. Denis has a passion for building and sustaining a culture that fosters a highly collaborative environment where people do their best work.

Dave Ring, SE, Health Facilities Review North Region, Polan Review – Dave has 8 years of structural design, and over 30 years’ experience in design and review, of which over 20 has been supervising plan review for The OSHPD, Facilities Development Division. He collaborates with owners and designers on alternate methods of compliance to keep up with state of the art healthcare, and is co-author of the Phased and Collaborative Review Policy Intent Notice 50 (PIN 50) providing review processes intended to align with Lean principles
