Lean in Safety

Having difficulty bringing safety to the next level in your organization? How do we rise to the challenge to commit to our co-workers, colleagues, and clients that we will all create, contribute to, and maintain a safe work environment for us and those around us?

Fortunately for us, Lean and safety are a natural fit. We invite you to join us to listen to local construction and design professionals/experts share their stories and experience related to leveraging Lean tools and principles to achieve better outcomes in safety. Specifically, you will hear about:

• Lean tools and principles for improving safety;
• How tracking safety behaviors and incidents followed by the use of A3s and root cause analysis can solve the ‘real’ problems and promote continuous improvement of safety procedures and behaviors;
• the value of making problems visible; and
• driving behaviors that engage your staff to promote safety (behavior-based safety culture)
