LCI Austin Community of Practice

presents

LCI Technology Symposium

Date: Wednesday, October 25, 2017

Time: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 Location: Fibercove
1700 S. Lamar Boulevard
#338
Austin, TX  78704

Technology is everywhere and makes work more complex.  The Austin CoP wants to help our community stay ahead of the curve so they have access to cutting edge solutions which will add value to their clients and teams.  We have brought together five leading technology solutions to present:

  • What is the major problem their product/service solves

  • What is the ultimate GOAL (BOHAG) the product/service believes it will solve.

This will be TED talk style, with 8-10 minutes focused on current state, two minutes focused on current state, and then ten minutes of Q&A after all presenters.
The program is being sponsored by the presenters and will be followed by a Happy HOur just down the street at Backbeat.
Speakers:
Brian Jones, Dauber Applications, will discuss the adoption of technology in traditional industries and how existing construction professionals can bring change rather than be victims of it.
Jackson Dyre, Hangar Technology, will explain how Hangar is enabling robotics in the changing construction industry to provide precise data that is accessible anywhere.
Brian Langhorst, Procore, will discuss how cloud-based applications and other technologies manage risk for the construction industry and connects the field, office, and the owner.
Matthew Murdoch, Work Machines, will review how WorkMachines.com is redefining standards of heavy construction equipment and machinery – how it is bought, sold, and rented in the secondary market.
Peter Smith, Oracle, will illustrate how Oracle Construction & Engineering is focusing on innovating traditional Critical Path Method Scheduling and Lean Construction Practices

Registration is free. – THANK YOU SPONSORS!
