Integrating Lean & Ergo to Improve Safety & Productivity

This presentation introduces common goals and outcomes “Lean” and “Ergo” share which serves as the basis for the concept of integrating ergonomics into “Lean” initiatives. The relationship between specific types of “waste” and specific ergonomic risks will be highlighted and examples of how ergonomic improvements reduce waste, injury risk exposure, and task completion time will be provided. Attendees will also explore these principles through a hands-on activity provided we have enough time.
