Building a team is about more than selecting the disciplines needed to design and build a project. A high performing team can deliver value to every aspect of the project and contribute to the elimination of waste. This session will highlight the essential behaviors and tools for partner selection, design team alignment and implementation team alignment. We will also highlight the highs and overcoming the lows experienced in design and implementation delivery. Stay until the end for an opportunity to network virtually.

• Andrea Sponsel began her lean journey nearly ten years ago, and was immediately immersed in the philosophy of improving what we do every day, and eliminating waste to create value. Since then, her passion has been teaching the technical side and people side of change to others, promoting a more inclusive and efficient delivery of design. She is also part of the Core Group for the Central Indiana CoP
• Mark Schuette is a Senior Project Manager at Messer Construction with over a decade of experience in delivering complex projects through the use of integrated project teams. Mark is a Certified Healthcare Constructor responsible for ensuring total project safety, quality, schedule, and cost commitments are achieved through Lean Construction Methods.
