Prefabrication, Preassembly, Modularization and Off-Site Fabrication, processes that utilize many lean principals. PPMOF can and should be applied across all aspects of construction (a PPMOF continuum) to reduce overall cost, schedule and improve safety and quality. Learn how Intel is achieving the benefits of Lean in their capital projects through PPMOF.

SPEAKERS:

Bill Schofield – Intel – Bill is currently the Intel Ocotillo BB Construction Manager in Phoenix. He has 24 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing.  Managed the Tool Install team of 20+ project managers and over 2000 trades to deliver the Ramp production tools for Process 1272. Managed the Construction Quality Control program for 1272 project in Arizona, implemented break-through systems to improve quality of trade craftsmanship. Bill serves on the Core Team of the Arizona LCI Community of Practice.

Ben Poore – Sundt – Ben holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clemson University. He worked as a surveyor in South Carolina for over 9 years and is currently a Project Engineer at Sundt working at Intel Ocotillo.

Jeff Ferguson – Sundt – Jeff is and has been a construction manager at Sundt for over 8 years. Prior to that he was a General Superintendent at Sundt for nearly 4 years and a Project Superintendent at Archer Western Construction for 4 years. Jeff serves on the Core Team of the Arizona LCI Community of Practice.
