Learn from the experts in this Zoom hosted meeting.
Daniel Shirkey from Balfour Beatty has assembled a panel of General and Trade Contractors who all have experienced both traditional and Lean Progressive Design-Build. Please join us for this interactive session with the ability to ask questions through Zoom as we learn more from their experiences and how they might be applied on current or future projects of your own. The members of the panel include:
- Erik Winje is the Pre-Construction Manager for a design build group supporting Clark Pacific Parking Structure Prefabricated Solutions. A registered professional civil engineer, Erik has worked in the construction industry for over 40 years in both preconstruction and operations. In the last 12 years of his career has been involved in integrated project delivery and design/build work. He is active in the Lean Construction Institute and DBIA working to transform the way in which projects are designed and built.
- With over 14 years of experience, Anthony Muñoz has managed all aspects of construction from conception through execution. Currently, Anthony is a multi-project Sr. Project Manager in DPR’s San Diego and Southern California regions with a focus in healthcare. Throughout his career, Anthony has been a champion of implementing lean practices throughout each stage of the projects he has touched. As a DPR lean leader, Anthony helps project teams integrate lean thinking and continuous improvement with the incremental changes to everyday practices that, cumulatively, result in big changes.
- Matt Brown, a Preconstruction Manager with KHS&S Contractors has worked for metal framing subcontractors in the construction industry since 2001 on various project types including health care facilities, theme parks, clean rooms, and even a concert hall. Starting in field operations, and eventually moving into estimating, he has versatile experience from multiple project perspectives. He is currently in a preconstruction role which he views as a link between estimating and operations, to build a plan for a successful project.
